ECLECTICA

City Museum and Art Gallery

PLYMOUTH: City Museum and Art Gallery

THU 23RD APR, 2009 12.30pm

Eclectica is a brand new project which redefines the “string quartet” and features the talents of Bernard Gregor-Smith – cello, Lizzie Ball – violin, Luis D’Agostino – guitar and Pete Oxley - guitar.

Replacing the second violin and the viola with two guitars, this outfit has the groove and drive of the D’Agostino & Oxley guitar duo, with the soaring lyricism from two of the world’s finest string players.

The programme will include an eclectic mix of music from South America, North America and Canada, together with some from Eastern Europe.

This concert is supported Airey & Coles.

This concert will begin at 1pm and will last for approximately 1 hour.
